We got that, and the grand baby, lots of time with family, and a good Christmas.

We survived the Christmas Eve “blizzard”

At first I was dreading spending the month of December in the PNW, but the past week was worth it. We found more places to eat and drink good beer, we explored a bit more of Portland, and besides the snow the night of Christmas Eve, the weather wasn’t that bad.

Past few weeks had been chilly and we needed to top off the propane tank . They brought it to us.

. . . and that’s all the sun we will see on this day

But, after four weeks of sitting still in Portland, we’re ready to move and find some sun and warmth. It’s time to head south.
